Set in Chelsea, Wynberg, find a cozy spot under the enchanting lights of the festival—set up just for you—to create unforgettable memories amidst the fairy-tale atmosphere of the park.

Open-Air Collective, The Festival Organisers, and our Partners, remain dedicated to honouring the founding traditions of the Festival, but we are committed to doing so responsibly. If you decide to bring your own Picnic Baskets, we ask that you sit on the grass away from the vendor seating area, as this is designated for Food Market guests. Please also remember that by law, no alcohol is allowed to be brought into the park, but it will be available for sale at our licensed Market bars.



In 2022, we launched a new front-of-house experience with the Food Market and Market Bar, and with our partnership with LITEHOUSE added magic to the walkways and woodlands of the Festival. In 2023, we introduced eco-friendly initiatives aimed at reducing waste and promoting sustainability. We want to thank OKJA, our 2024 OFFICIAL MILK PARTNER, which allowed us to offer non-dairy coffee products at half price, and REACT for providing us with a recycling system. New initiatives are in the works for MV ‘25, and we remain committed to making the festival more sustainable and magical for all our patrons.

Become A Vendor

At Open-Air Collective, we work hard to provide a fertile environment for local SME entrepreneurs and established food-oriented businesses such as chef training academies, food innovation labs, and established restaurants to showcase their skills, businesses, food products, and innovations in a new light.

While the space for vendors is limited, the Festival historically sells up to 650 tickets per performance, and runs for 38 days! Consequently, all our Vendors/Partners selected in each category will enjoy a unique opportunity to have a monopoly of their category at the Festival.

To become a Food Vendor in the 2025 Maynardville Evening Food Market, you will need to complete an application. Applications for MV’25 Food Market will open on July 1, 2024. If you wish to be notified first, please email us with the email header: FOOD VENDOR APPLICANT, and we will notify you when applications open.
