There exists a passion at Diemersfontein Wine & Country Estate that is hard to miss. Diemersfontein produces award-winning wines and offers a fine restaurant, superb guest accommodation – both in the original Manor House and Garden Cottages, private conference facilities and an intimate wedding venue. Diemersfontein has been the family home of the Sonnenberg family for 3 generations, dating back to the early 1940s. The magnificent gardens were designed by David’s mother, Cecilia Sonnenberg also a well-known Cape Town actress and producer and co-founder of Maynardville Open-Air Theatre. The family remains passionate contributors to the arts understanding the importance of encouraging and sponsoring local artists, and providing them the support they need to pursue their talents.

Mackay’s Coffee , a long standing local Cape Town mobile Espresso Business is run by experienced barista Robbie Davidson and crew. Consultant and mobile coffee expert, Robbie was highly commended in 2006 by the Executive Mayor for his mobile catering achievements to her Fire and Disaster Management crews on the slopes of Table Mountain. This event inspired Robbie into the passion of mobile coffee and beverage catering. Over the years some of the corporates he worked for on mobile espresso solutions are; Douwe Egberts, Ciro Lavazza, Artscape, Vida e Caffe, Argus Cycle Tour group.
Robbie is now working with the City of Cape Town on his next exciting beverage project for 2018.

Whether it is sinking a batch of Belgian tripel beer underwater to ferment or adding peanut butter to a winter festival brew, there is nothing that Drifter won’t try at least once! They are always pushing boundaries and keeping things exciting in the South African craft beer industry. When you walk into Drifter, it feels like you’ve stepped onto a ship setting sail for beer paradise. By day, the brewery is in full force manufacturing production — by night it turns into a tasting room and event space with views of Table Mountain from the bar. In November 2016, Drifter tripled their brewing capacity and are on target to triple again in 2018. They are rapidly expanding as they begin international export.
