Get ready to be swept away by the whimsical charm of Shakespeare’s classic tale at Toyota US Woordfees, Stellenbosch’s renowned annual cultural festival. “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” unravels a riotous journey through Athens and an enchanted forest, intertwining the escapades of young lovers, earthy tradesmen, and a mischievous fairy kingdom. Prepare for a hilarious and chaotic adventure filled with mistaken identities, playful gender swaps, magical spells, and mischievous pranks. The talented cast, who received standing ovations at Maynardville, includes Chi Mhende, Mark Elderkin, Roberto Kyle, Caleb Swanepoel, and Tankiso Mamabolo.
